The future of cultural marketing in the age of artificial intelligence: insights from Gabor Egri at Akordaj - Spotlight on Music

05 Oct 2024

At the Akordaj – Spotlight on Music conference, Gabor Egri addressed the impact of artificial intelligence on cultural marketing. While recognizing the benefits of technology, Egri remains confident in the importance of human expertise.

“I believe in human expertise and I believe in people. At the same time, I cannot ignore technical developments. Artificial intelligence could be used and should be used in a way that helps us achieve our goals,” he said. Egri believes that AI should be a complementary tool, not a replacement for human creativity: “I would like to think that we need people in the marketing department working using the advantages of artificial intelligence, rather than seeing artificial intelligence using us.”

The conference, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, provided a framework for debates on current and future trends in music marketing.
