Serhan Bali impressed by young classical music journalists from Timisoara at Akordaj conference - Spotlight on Music

Serhan Bali, publisher and editor-in-chief of the Turkish classical music magazine Andante, recently attended the Akordaj – Spotlight on Music conference in Timisoara, where he had the opportunity to interact with young people passionate about music journalism.

“Before coming to Timisoara I never expected to meet such enthusiastic and energetic young people, excellent English speakers. This was a pleasant surprise for me,” said Bali. He was impressed by the energy and determination of the new generation of journalists, noting that they have the potential to overcome the challenges in the field.

Bali expressed his joy of working with these young people: “I saw in their eyes, in their energy, in their potential that they have the will, the courage and the determination to overcome these difficulties. So I am very pleased overall with the performance of my students.”

Akordaj – Spotlight on Music is a conference organized by Classical ME, JM Hungary and Scena Muzicală, which brought together classical music journalism professionals from Hungary and Romania in Timisoara with the aim of training the next generation of classical music journalists. The conference was co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.
